Where to stay in Phuket

Patong - is the best place to stay in Phuket if you prefer to be in the center of fun and entertainments. There are many night clubs, shops, cafes, pubs, Go-Go bars, sex clubs and massage saloons. One more evident advantage of renting property in Patong is that this beach is the main tourist center. All roads seem to lead here.

Karon – was the second best beach from all over the world (in 2008). Actually Karon is one of the best places where you can stay in Phuket. It consists of two beaches such as Karon Noi Beach and Karon Beach. Unlike Patong nightlife here is not so vivid and active but the shore is the cleanest on the island and the sand makes an interesting song. They say it sings a song.

Kata – consists of Kata Yai and Kata Noi, the smaller one. You will not find any places for getting night fun and cheer, but it is the best area if you prefer to stay in a calm and quiet beach in Phuket. It is a bay, so wind cannot reach the shores and there are no strong waves in the place.

Bang Tao – is one of the longest beaches of Phuket, its length is about 9 meters. The most expensive and luxury villas are located in this area. The north side of Bang Tao seems to be almost wild and untouched. Note that Bang tao beach is not the right place to stay for budget visitors, but it is worth of the money you will spend for your accommodation here.

Kamala – is the best place for people who would like to get bright nightlife but to stay in a serene area, because Kamala Beach is located right behind noisy Patong on the way to the north of Phuket.

Nai Harn – is considered as the most beautiful beach in Phuket. It is homey, cozy and cosh. If you decide to rent a nice villa here, you will get white sand, clear water and not crowded beach.
